Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: April 5, 2026  ·  Last Updated: April 5, 2026

midlifebridge is committed to ensuring this website and its digital products are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We are actively working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Section 01

Our Commitment

Accessibility: Active & Ongoing

midlifebridge serves women navigating hormonal transition — a population that may experience vision changes, cognitive symptoms such as brain fog, fatigue, and other conditions that directly affect how they interact with digital content. Accessibility is not a checkbox for us. It is core to who we serve.

We are committed to providing a website experience that is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users, in alignment with the four principles of WCAG 2.1.

Section 02

Measures We Have Implemented

The following accessibility measures are currently in place on midlifebridge.com:

  • Skip navigation link — A "Skip to main content" link appears at the top of every page for keyboard-only users, allowing them to bypass repetitive navigation
  • Semantic HTML structure — Pages use proper heading hierarchy (H1, H2), landmark regions (nav, main, footer), and section labels so screen readers can navigate efficiently
  • ARIA labels — Interactive elements including navigation, buttons, forms, and accordions include descriptive aria-label and aria-expanded attributes
  • Form accessibility — All form fields have associated labels, required field indicators, and autocomplete attributes to reduce cognitive load
  • Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators
  • Focus management — Visible focus rings appear on all interactive elements when navigated by keyboard
  • Color contrast — Text and interactive elements meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1
  • Decorative images — SVG illustrations and decorative graphics are marked with aria-hidden="true" so screen readers skip them
  • Responsive design — Content reflows correctly at all viewport sizes and zoom levels up to 400% without requiring horizontal scrolling
  • Language declaration — The html element includes lang="en" to enable correct screen reader pronunciation
Section 03

Known Limitations

While we are actively working toward full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, the following limitations are known and are being addressed:

  • Some third-party components within the Kajabi platform — including the member portal and checkout pages — are outside our direct control. We are working within Kajabi's framework to improve these where possible
  • Video and audio content within the course system currently lacks closed captions. We are prioritizing caption implementation for all audio walkthroughs
  • PDF documents linked within the course system are being reviewed and updated to meet PDF accessibility standards

We are committed to resolving these limitations as part of our ongoing accessibility roadmap.

Section 04
